Leeton was battered with nearly 50 millimetres of rain on Sunday morning but conditions have eased despite continuing rainfall.
A further 10 to 15 millimetres of rain is expected today before Tuesday brings the possibility of a thunderstorm and 15 to 30 millimetres of rain.
Conditions will return to normal on Wednesday and it will be partly cloudy in Leeton for the rest of the week.

Griffith was hit with 16.2 millimetres of rain on Sunday and showers have continued into Monday.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, a further 10 to 20 millimetres will fall today.
There is a possible chance of heavy rainfall early on Tuesday, with 15 to 30 millimetres expected.
Sunshine is then forecast to return to Grififth on Tuesday afternoon and stick around for at least the rest of the week.
Yenda received some light rainfall over the weekend and forecasts suggest the rainfall will continue until Wednesday.
Coleambally can expect similar conditions to the rest of the region, with 8 to 15 millimetres of rain expected today and 15 to 30 forecast for Tuesday, followed by 0 millimetres for the rest of the week.
And Rankins Springs can expect a max of 25 millimetres on both Monday and Tuesday before the sun returns on Wednesday - similar conditions are also forecast for Goolgowi.
