25 minutes into the first half saw Leeton's Brianna Twigg inside the Cootamundra box with an opportunity to strike and set up the first goal of the match.
Leeton continued to keep up possession during the first half of the game and dominate Cootamundra.
Twigg worked hard to create another opportunity to make it inside Cootamundra's 18 yard box to score.
The keeper bet Twiggs attempt, however put the ball into the path of Leeton's Courtney Smith, who took the score to 2-0 Leeton United in front at half-time.
Second half saw the Ladies determined to keep up there 2-0 lead, Charlie Lamont took her chances to score but was unfortunate.
Players player was awarded to Zoe Stasinopolous, FWW player of womens round awarded to Charlie Lamont.
Sally Cassilles and Paula Bocca worked hard all game, there efforts could not be faulted.
Coach Burley said he was very proud of his players and hopes they continue to train hard as there is still plenty of room for improvement, there is still tougher games ahead as the season progresses.
Leeton United meet South Wagga at home this weekend.
It will be a good chance for further points for the Leonard Cup side taking on a South Wagga side who are yet to take a win so far this season.
