From May 20 until June 10, 400 randomly selected residents can expect to be contacted over the phone for the survey by Micromex Research who Leeton Shire Council have engaged the services of to complete this momentous task.
These individuals will allow council to gain a representative sample of the views of the entire Leeton shire.
According to council's governance and engagement executive manager Kerrie-Anne Hare, the community satisfaction survey will assist council in assessing the Leeton community and their priorities in regards to services and facilities as well as measuring levels of satisfaction with the council.
"Micromex Research will be conducting the survey on Council's behalf and will benchmark the results against the results of other regional Council's to give us a clear picture of our performance," Ms Hare said.

Ms Hare also encouraged residents who receive a call to participate in what she said would only be a 20 minute discussion to further enable council to better serve the needs of Leeton.
"We know you are busy but if you receive a call from Micromex Research, please take the time to complete the survey," Ms Hare said.
"Your participation will provide council with an extremely useful insight into where we should focus our efforts to improve and meet changing community expectations".
The survey is conducted once every two years.
