After a tough schedule to start the year, including losses to top four sides Wagga Tigers, Coolamon and Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong, the Crows booted six of their seven goals with the strong wind in the first quarter to set up a 7.12 (54) to 4.10 (34) victory at Leeton Showground.
Tryon Rainbird booted three goals for the victors.
The Crows left the door slightly ajar when they could manage just one goal with the wind in the third term, but did enough to comfortably hold off the Eagles.

"It was nice to get reward for effort. We haven't been terrible all year, so it's a relief to everyone," Darley said.
"Keeping them to two goals in each quarter when they had the wind was really pleasing, we set up behind the ball really well.
"You want to win and be competitive, but the development of some of our young guys was pleasing. Even though the wins weren't there I wasn't too worried.
"Getting a win almost gives them belief in what I'm trying to teach. Winning is what people play footy for, and it's hard to hold onto that belief when thing aren't going your way."
The Crows have chances to build on a breakthrough win against Turvey Park.
