The event is steeped in 60 years of Scottish Presbyterian tradition and saw 11 young women make their rebuts alongside partners for the first time, some whose debuts were postponed from 2020.
Almost 250 people came to watch the girls make their official debut, however according to event organiser Anne Lepper, previous events before COVID saw upwards of 450 attend the ball.
Anne said the night was a tremendous success.
"It was all very special and we had three girls who had waited the extra year to make their debut so it was wonderful that they didn't miss out" Mrs Lepper said.
"It was just the loveliest group of young people, they were all absolutely perfect".
Debutantes took part in the Pride of Erin waltz and then performed a specially choreographed routine by local dance teacher Sarah Morris with their partners.
The festivities also saw local highland dancers perform alongside a traditional Scottish pipe band with Double Shot Music closing out the night.
Reverand David Hawken from St Andrew's Presbyterian Church hosted the event, Reverand Richard Keith from Corowa Presbyterian Church was a Guest of Honour, Mrs Kaylene Deaton was the Matron of Honour, Miss Indie Dunn was the Flower Girl and Master Lachlan Johnstone was the Page Boy.
Mrs Laney Lashbrook-Gough was the Master of Ceremonies.
The debutantes and their partners were as follows:
- Kasey Aliendi and Emerson Cody
- Sarah Allen and Joshua Joy
- Mikayla Boots and Reece Grundy
- Brooke Eglinton and Braith Schmetzer
- Marni Elliott and Mark Elliott
- Laura Johnstone and Jonathan Foster
