Taking out a City outfit made up of the two Wagga clubs, the Country outfit filled with plenty of players from Griffith's undefeated team scored a 22-0 win.
While coach Marty Hogan was impressed with how his team adapted to the 15-a-side game, he was thrilled with how both teams embraced the opportunity.
"It was excellent," Hogan said.
"I'm still excited about what happened.
"From both sides at least eight girls came off that paddock and said it was the most fun they had had in rugby in a long time.
"To me that just resonated and it's the whole essence of rugby and why we are doing this.
"I was just impressed with the way they played, the attitude they took onto the paddock and what they got out of it.
"I was just blown away."

Played between the two Brumbies Provincial Tournament, the game was designed to offer an opportunity for the region's women to impress with an eye to further representative honours.
Hogan thought the two teams really stepped up to the mark.
He was impressed with how the teams approached the different game, played over a longer length of time.
Country dominated the majority of the game, scoring two tries in both halves.
However Hogan was especially impressed with how the smaller City forward pack handled the task at hand.
"Their defence was dramatic as we had some big girls in the Country side and the littler forwards from Aggies and the likes did not back down in the slightest," he said. "It was wonderful to watch."
