The Leeton Greens will be at home to old rivals Hay this weekend, while Yanco-Wamoon return to their own turf where they are gearing up to face Darlington Point-Coleambally.
Leeton continue to be the yardstick for the league tag competition in season 2021 and show no signs of slowing down.
Coach Dan Watt said while the team had been enjoying their undefeated status, players were aware the hard work still needed to be put in.
"Or defence was really good on the weekend (against Yanco-Wamoon), so we want to keep up that effort in defence," he said.
"There was a lot of good talk and communication too. We will keep working on that and improving.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"If we have to pick up something I think getting our fundamentals in attack right. Knowing when to pass the ball and not being scared to do so. We want to be taking our chances."
Taking on Hay this weekend, the coach wasn't too sure what to expect.
The two sides have built up quite a rivalry over the years following many finals appearances.
However, with Hay now towards the bottom of the table, Leeton will certainly be hoping they can come out on top once again.
Meanwhile, Yanco-Wamoon league tag coach Pat Hart can feel a win might be on the horizon for the young Hawks side.
Hart's concentration for the team has been guiding them to learn the basics of the game and going from there.
With DPC also towards the bottom end of the table, Hart was hopeful his charges would take on what they've learned and continue to show improvement.
"We are a team that is still very much learning the game for some players, so we are just focusing on a simple game plan and implementing that," he said.
"I think if we can continue to just learn our positions and what our role is, a win won't be too far away.
"Maybe in a few weeks, hopefully.
"All I can ask of the girls is to see their effort and improvement and that's definitely what has been happening, so it's good."
