Member for Murray Helen Dalton said she had received correspondence from residents, including at least one teacher, who had their vaccine appointment cancelled at the last minute for this reason.
"A lot of people are telling us, while they are being told by the government to go and get vaccinated, that they find it difficult to get an appointment or they have had theirs cancelled," she said.
"I am aware of Pfizer shortages in the Leeton area.
"I have certainly had reports of essential workers who have had appointments cancelled.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"What we want to know is where are those vaccines that were supposedly getting sent back to regional NSW?
"It's clear that perhaps they haven't been returned yet."
Leeton shire residents have been urged to continue to roll up their sleeve and persist with booking appointments if they are yet to do so.
