While slightly different to normal, residents still turned out in droves at Mountford Park to enjoy the festivities.
Walking through the gates, despite the COVID regulations, it almost felt like a "normal" Light Up Leeton.
Families and residents of all ages were milling about for a chat, sampling the various tasty delights on offer from the community stalls and, of course, attempting to win something for the Christmas lunch table at the Rotary hams carnival.
The community stalls allowed groups and organisations to sell all kinds of treats and dinner options for everyone to enjoy whether it was on the go or by pulling up a chair or picnic rug within the park grounds.
All of the money raised at each of these stalls goes directly back to these community organisations, which was a deciding factor in pulling together this year's Light Up Leeton Christmas Fair amid ongoing COVID-19 restrictions and vaccination requirements.
With stalls doing a roaring trade and entertainment on the stage, it all allowed for a great night out and a return to near normality for one of Leeton's favourite events.
IN OTHER NEWS:
At the conclusion of the fair, it was once again time to pile into the car and drive around town looking at the many festive lights displays.
The committee has reminded residents it's not too late to put some lights up at home and register them online for a chance to win a prize.
