SEVERAL drivers have been busted allegedly driving under the influence of an illicit substance in Leeton shire.

Police and highway patrol officers were out and about across the shire over the weekend pulling over drivers in traffic stops for random breath and drug tests.
A 23-year-old male was stopped by police at 11.30am on December 10 on Irrigation Way at Yanco where officers discovered he had a disqualified licence.
A roadside drug test also returned an alleged positive result and he was issued with a court attendance notice. Just before 8am on the same day a 36-year-old man was also pulled over by police, this time on Wamoon Avenue.
The man's licence had expired and a roadside drug test also returned an alleged positive result.
The man will soon be issued with a court attendance notice.
IN OTHER NEWS:
A 35-year-old woman was also stopped by police just before 10am on December 12 in Kurrajong Avenue with officers conducting a roadside drug test, which returned an alleged positive result.
She too will be issued with a court attendance notice.
In another matter, a 36-year-old woman was spotted by police around 5.30pm on December 12 flashing her headlights at oncoming vehicles.
Checks by police revealed the woman has never held a driver's licence.
She was issued a court attendance notice for unlicensed driving.
A 22-year-old man will also be fronting court on several chargers after officers noticed him driving a grey Volkswagen on Lansdowne Road on December 13 around 3pm, which was allegedly displaying "incorrect number plates".
Police allege the driver was suspended at the time of being behind the wheel and the registration of the car had also expired.
The man was charged with driving while suspended, using false plates and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
