With this in mind, Totem Skateboarding and the Leeton Youth Committee has invited residents of all ages to a say on the proposed Leeton Skatepark extension design this weekend.
An event has been planned specifically to do just that where the community can have their say on the project, as well as taking part in a free skateboarding coaching session at the same time.
Councillor Sandra Nardi said the committee was excited to be partnering with Totem Skateboarding to drive the project to success.
“We are really encouraging the community to contribute by providing their thoughts and ideas on how the skatepark extension should look,” she said.
The coaching session will run from 1pm to 1.30pm on September 23, but spots are limited and registrations are required.
