The Greens are taking on the Waratah Tigers on Saturday at No. 1 Oval in what is the Hotondo Homes charity round.
Leeton are returning after a week's break thanks to the bye. The week prior to that they went down to West Wyalong, so Weir believes a win on Saturday is crucial.
"There's a few things I've been noticing for a while now where we need to improve," the coach said.
"For me mostly that is our attack.
"When we've played some of those teams lower on the ladder and, no disrespect to them, but we should have been pointing 60 points-plus on them, but we just weren't doing that.

"Our attack is the big one and I'll be asking some questions of those in our key positions to really step up this weekend. If we're going to win our attack and defence needs to be spot on."
Weir believes the Greens need to win two of their remaining three matches if they are to secure a spot in third on the first grade ladder and picking up a second chance comes finals.
After Waratahs this weekend, the fifth-placed Greens will face Darlington Point-Coleambally, who are currently fourth and the second-placed Yanco-Wamoon.
Leeton will also be without key player Rhys Wilesmith for the remaining games before finals after he was suspended for three matches.
Wilesmith was allegedly struck by a West Wyalong player in their match a fortnight ago and retaliated, resulting in the punishment.
While Weir knows the Greens will need to be on their game on Saturday afternoon, he is confident they can push the Tigers.
"If we show up like I know we can, we'll certainly be in with a chance ... these are the sides we need to be defeating," he said.
"It's going to take everyone putting in and playing well for the whole game, not just in patches."
