Mick Doolin was the star of the round with a superb nett 29 last Thursday evening.
Well done Mick.
There are five preliminary rounds remaining with the last round concluding Thursday night on March 25.
Players, captains and teams will then be notified of their finals qualification for the semi and grand final on Sunday March 28.
There is the possibility of a "long round" coming up also because of the Pro-Am weekend so stay tuned.

Other players to shine in round 16 included new player in his third week - Ian Schifleet - who had a brilliant 30 nett for the Bald Eagles.
Rod Emerson and Rosco Cantril,l the old Yanco team mates, had 32s.
Luke Thomas, Brendan Steele, Kimmy Handsaker, Rocky Silllis, Brian Conroy, Talise Rudd, Nick Di Pompo, Blake Jones and John Hill all had 33s.
Garry Schmetzer, Rob O'Callaghan, Harry Steele, Robbie Gifford, Michael Day, Ken Bloem, Ben Paton, Blake Hyde and Frank Alampi all had 34s.
The ball comp got out to 35 again for the fourth week in a row.
LEETON GOLF
LAST Saturday was the Jade Jenson medley.
Team winners were Shane Whelan, Ryan Grey, Nathan Jones and Lindsay Fysh with 128 points. Team runners-up were Josh Helson, Matt Sharman, Graeme Dale and Cruze Dale on 127 points.
Men's A grade winner was Matt Sharman 42 points. Runner-up Scott Turner 41. Men's B grade winner was S Ryan with 43 points, runner-up R Broadrick 41 on a countback.
Ladies winner Janelle Sullivan on 33 points, runner-up Chris Smith 32 points on a countback.
Pins 4th Dylan Holt/Deidre Ross, 6th Josh Helson, 13th Rod Tait/Viv Burton, 15th M Day/Jacki Walsh. Ball comp went to 37 points. Saturday's event is a stableford.
