The Carpheads were able to make a strong start after winning the toss and electing to bat with James Sullivan and Jordan Camm at the top of the order.
The visitors were able to put on 28 runs for the first wicket in the first five overs before Camm (20) was knocked over by Reece Keech (1/34).
Jonathon Doyle helped Sullivan keep the score moving in a positive direction with a 25-run partnership which got their side past 50 before Doyle (18) became the first victim of Rob Keech.
Sullivan was joined by Brent Lawrence, and they looked to push their side towards a competitive total with a 34-run stand before Sullivan (28) fell while Tom Butterfield followed closely behind when he was dismissed by a sharp caught and bowled from Mark Burns.
Lawrence (35) led the way for the Carpheads as the middle order struggled to deal with the bowling of Burns (3/19) and Keech (3/33).
Connor Vearing (16) added some late runs to see the Carpheads bowled out 150 in the final over.
The Colts were able to make a fast start scoring 17 runs inside the first three overs before Burns (6) fell to the bowling of Sam Williamson.
Matt Rhodes continued to keep the score ticking over with Matt DelGuzzo, and they were able to get their side to 30 before Williamson found his way through the defence of Rhodes (22).
DelGuzzo (11) fell with the score on 49, and the wickets continued to fall at regular intervals for the Colts putting them on the backfoot.
Reece Maguire (31) was the only remaining Colt batsman to get a start as Brodie Perram started to cause some damage to the Colts lower order.
Perram picked up the wickets of Ben Killen (5) and Michael Keech (0) in successive deliveries, and while Rob Keech (2) survived the hat-trick delivery, he fell in the next Perram over.
Maguire (31) became Perram's (4/16) fourth victim to see the Colts bowled out for 87 in the 26th over.
The Colts will take on the Ferrets next weekend while Narrandera faces Yanco.
