MRHS secured passage through to the final with wins over Narrandera High School and Marian Catholic College, while St Francis knocked over Narrandera and Yanco Ag.
It was a tough start to the game as both sides tried to find their footing, with both sides starting the game a behind each.
MRHS was able to kick the first goal of the game, but St Francis was able to hit back shortly after to see the sides level once more.
Patrick Payne played a great game up forward and was able to kick two goals towards the end of the first half to push the MRHS side out to a 12-point lead.
The home side was able to push their lead out further after recycling the ball at the top of the fifty-metre arch before a long bomb from Kahlan Spencer sailed through the sticks for a major.

Payne continued his great day out in front of goal with his third for the afternoon, while another two quick goals saw the MRHS side push out of a 36-point lead.
Oliver Bartter put the game to bed after he caught the St Francis side unaware, and with no one inside the goal square Bartter lined up from range and was able to kick the final goal of the game from outside 50 to hand MRHS an 8.2 (50) to 1.1 (7) win over St Francis.
St Francis didn't go home empty-handed however, with their girls side able to take out the competition. The winners of both competitions will head to Albury for the next round.
