Having fallen to Hanwood last weekend the win over Wagga United keep Leeton in the tight battle at the top of the table.
There is a logjam at the for second place at the moment with United sitting just two points just behind Young, Lake Albert and Henwood Park who have won three of their four games to start the season.
Leeton will take on the Sharks next weekend.
