At this April 24 event there were 66 participants either walking or running with 13 volunteers.
"The weather was great and we had visitors that came especially for our first event from the Blue Mountains, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle, Victoria, and Canberra," said Andrew Watson from the Leeton parkrun organising committee.
"These visitors have been ongoing as different parkruns are sought after events by many.
"All these visitors stay here in local accommodation so the town benefits."
Up to week nine there have been 506 participants, 214 first timers and 97 volunteer roles filled by 54 people at the weekly Leeton sessions.
There have been 109 personal bests recorded.

This Saturday marks the 10th outing in Leeton.
"Each week we are getting great numbers participating and volunteering, which is greatly appreciated by all as it provides a safe environment for all those participating," Watson said.
"There are no awards for winning, it's about you and your time and contributing to the community.
"There are no winners, there are first finishers, but the course does have records for the fastest times for women, men and someone based on their age graded score."
There are over 400 parkruns across Australia.
The free event is 5km in distance every Saturday morning of the year at 8am, open to all ages. All parkruns are different, there are some on beaches, or on farms, they are all diverse.
Leeton's parkrun starts and finishes near the town's skate park with much of the surrounding areas of the paths utilised.
As the course cannot cross roads, it is centred on the pool, ovals and Mark Taylor Oval precinct.
There is a website dedicated to the Leeton Sport and Recreation Precinct parkrun, as well as a Facebook page.
"All volunteer roles are easy so if you would like to assist in a community event, please consider it," Watson said.
"There is a run director there each week if you would like to ask them any questions or one of the wonderful volunteers.
"The various roles include run director, marshal, timekeeping, handing out finish tokens, barcode scanning or tail walking. No participant comes last in parkrun, the tail walker always does."
Register online at https://www.parkrun.com.au/register/ and consider a Saturday morning walk, run or time volunteering.
Once registered participants need to print their barcode and bring it with them. The barcode is scanned with a position code and once all the data is submitted you receive an email with your time.
The whole event is finished by 9:30am with the morning to be completed with a catch up at a local coffee shop.
