Thanks to Australia Post's People of Post grant of $500 and Essential Energy's Community Halls Program grant of $200.
Sadie has been waiting for a photo opportunity with the hall committee members who wish to publicly thank Australia Post and Essential Energy.
Sadie is also keen to show off her sweeping abilities, however COVID restrictions have made Sadie's life at the hall very quiet so far.
In other news, Whitton-Murrami Public School is supporting students who are learning from home, attending school for essential reasons and a mixed mode of learning for those doing a combination of both.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Last Friday the school celebrated rural firefighters and volunteer recognition day.
Students were asked to wear yellow.
Students learning from home posted photos of themselves onto their class Dojo page.
The Whitton Bowling Club Father's Day raffle was set to be drawn at the post office on Thursday due to the club's closure in line with current restrictions.
The Sera fundraiser raffle has been extended until September 10.
If restrictions have not been lifted, a livestream draw will take place.
Tickets are available through Whitton Post Office, Rice Bowl Hotel, Leeton Hotel and Yenda Hotel.
Both the pub and the club have managed to keep their footy tipping competitions and punters clubs ticking over in a COVID-safe manner.
As the footy seasons come to a close, those doing well would be keen for an uninterrupted end with an eye on winning.
