Year 12 students from the shire's schools received their marks and university admission number, known as an ATAR, this week and there is plenty to celebrate.
St Francis College had 16 students feature on the merit award list, which is for those for gained a band six result (a HSC mark over 90) for a given subject.
Some of those students featured more than once, meaning the college had 24 mentions all up on the state-wide list.
"A further 110 band five results (marks between 80 and 89) were also achieved," college principal Seb Spina said.

"These results have led to many wonderful ATAR rankings for our students.
"We're very proud of the hard work and effort they all put in. It's fantastic to see such great results again."
Yanco Agricultural High School has also reported solid results across its year 12 class of 2019, which consisted of 38 students.
Subjects such as agriculture and primary industries were once again the stand outs, as were mathematics and English.
"There were some good scores across the board," YAHS principal Gary Hunt said.
"There was a 95 in agriculture and some other band six results in other subjects.
"That's very pleasing for the students and their teachers."
Many year 12 students across the shire have already gained early access into university, which made finding out their scores a little easier and less stressful.
YAHS had three students feature on merit list, with Leeton High School having two.
"Leeton High School's HSC results were again very pleasing with band six results earned across several subjects and a generous distribution of band fives, which was exciting to see," LHS principal Meagan Crelley said.
"Also very pleasing were the students who performed to their very best across our diverse curriculum.
"Many students have gained early entry into universities across NSW, which is a great outcome for this chosen pathway."
