With 17 bowlers turning up, three games of triples were able to be played, with Joan Bourke playing a double lead.
Despite the gusty winds playing havoc with the bowls, Jean Leighton, Mary Payten, Lorraine Mullins and Janet Bell all scored resting touchers.
Janet bell, Marika Pete and Hilary Chambers were the drawn winners after defeating Lorraine Mullins, Joan Arnold and Lorraine Messner 16-10.
Joan Lloyd, Jean Leighton and Jan Fitzpatrick, after winning 10 of the 15 ends played, defeated Patti Wakeman, Jan Walker and Diane Colyer 20-9.
MORE SPORT:
In the other game of triples Elaine Sullivan, Mary Payten, made a comeback with Joan Bourke, defeating Judy Heness, Denise Naylor and Joan Bourke 18-13.
Sullivan was nine shots up on the 14th end when Heness made her move, winning the next three ends, closing the gap to three, but failed to take the last end.
Plans are on the way for our tournament day to be held in April and Joan Bourke was the first raffle winner.
